Therapy offered

Basic Shiatsu therapy:
Full body treatment on a low table. Pressure is adjusted according to patient request. No oil is used. Patient should wear underwear and/or loose clothes. Ideal treatment for relaxation.

Tsubo Ho:
Pressure point therapy with myofascial and trigger point release. It is also called acu-point therapy. Pressure may be deeper and less comfortable. Ideal for pain relief and rehabilitation.

Active Isolated Stretching:
AIS consists in actively stretching isolated muscles for less than 2 seconds. Three series of ten stretches are done during treatment. AIS prevents stretch reflex to hold the stretch. Recommended for sport injuries, rehabilitation or regular conditionning.

Gua Sha therapy

Gua Sha interrupts vasoconstriction by mechanical stimulation of the mast cells resulting in the activation of the axon reflex flare.
As capillaries in the skin dilate, blood flow increases and oxygen and nutrient flow to tissues improve.
Pain relief after Gua Sha is often immediate.
Within two or three minutes of mild to moderate pressure Gua Sha, capillary dilation is evident as skin turn in bright red. Petechiae will resolve within three to seven days after treatment.
